SIG: Visual Interaction Design:
State of the Art and Presentation of
Work in Progress

During the conference, the VID SIG will sponsor a session
focusing on recent work by participants (practitioners, students,
researchers) in the Visual Interaction Design field including the
disciplines of graphic, information and industrial design, user
interface, product design, digital media. etc. The session will
consist of several short presentations (15 minutes each) of current
and/or ongoing innovative work by Visual Interaction Designers. The
goal of this session is to provide a peer forum at CHI and to
stimulate discussion and share ideas among participants. There will be
a short business meeting at the beginning of the session.
Interested Visual Interaction Designers are encouraged to make
a short PROPOSAL FOR PARTICIPATION to present work in this
informal, highly interactive session.
